July Barbecue Party became one of the most diverse parties of the year. It started with engagements announcements followed by introduction of two lovely ladies. One of them, Luba Veritelnik, has come to the United States three days before the party on a student visa. The other lady came from Moscow a couple of weeks ago to join her fiancée Craig Shipp. We all knew about Craig's fiancee from 800 photographs that he took at various trips with her. Craig always had them on his laptop and was eager to share them with anybody who was interested. Now both ladies were enthusiastically accepted into our large community. Both found instant friends and exchanged phone numbers.

At the same time several young ladies turned the living room into the concert hall. One of our guests at the party happened to be the owner and the production director of the Dinner Theater. He enjoyed playing popular American and Russian tunes while the ladies enjoyed singing.

Dancing was another fun activity that was going on in at the same time .Everybody had a good time and the party lasted until midnight. Scott Raimist, our dear host did a great job cooking and entertaining. Of course he was rewarded with special attention of all single ladies at the party. The rest of the guests couldn't thank him enough for throwing such a great party for us.
